Bryan, Garnier & Co advises Netino, leading social content moderation firm, on its sale to Webhelp, one of Europe's largest customer experience providers
Paris, October 6th 2016 – Bryan, Garnier & Co advised the shareholders of Netino, a leading company in the field of e-moderation and owner of Moderatus technology, in its handover to the Webhelp Group, a European specialist in outsourced customer experience. This strategic operation will enable Webhelp to expand its digital activites and to strengthen its position as a technology enabler. An agreement has just been signed and the actual transaction will take place before the end of the year.
This acquisition adheres to the Webhelp Group’s
objective to reinforce the services they can offer in the digital sector. In
fact, Netino has more than 120 large clients in all sectors, particularly in
the media (Le Monde, France TV, Europe 1…) and offers brands a strong buffer on
interactive platforms (social networks, forums, blogs, small adverts….) thus
enabling them to face all potential damage inherent in Web 2.0. Moreover,
Netino has a growing involvement in video content processing activities. The
firm is supported by recognised know-how for recruiting, training and
supervising operators all over the world 24/7. It also has a proprietary
technical solution, Moderatus notably interfaced with over 600 websites and
Facebook pages.
Netino’s activities will be regrouped with
those of the Webhelp Digital & Marketing Services entity, the operational
agency of the group specialised in content management (obtaining and enriching
web content, web screening, UGC moderation), social media (monitoring and intervention
on social media) and graphic design (formatting of presentations and support
design for online and offline communication).
Global services for marketing
and digital services
The two companies will continue to operate in
the same way: the headquarters of Netino will remain in the 1st arrondissement
of Paris. Jérémie Mani, as CEO, and Jean-Marc Royer as the founder of the
company and CTO will remain at the head of the company, supported by Chloé de
Mont-Serrat, Director of the Development of Webhelp Digital & Marketing Services,
who will take up the post of CCO.
According to Vincent Bernard, CEO of Webhelp in
France, “Our group has witnessed significant
growth in recent years and has extended its activities into new territories and
services, and we are delighted to join forces with Netino, who has been
consistently growing for the past 5 years.”
Jérémie Mani, CEO of Netino believes that “the Webhelp group is a platform with
formidable assets for developing our services: the combination of the power of
Webhelp on one hand and the expertise of Netino on social networks on the
other, give us a unique capacity to support companies who want to equip
themselves with solutions for the entire client relations channel. Thanks to
this merger, we will be able to conquer new territories and new markets. We
have been accompanied by Bryan, Garnier & Co, who have been closely
involved throughout the process. Their solid expertise, as well as their
understanding of our activity and of the sector, allowed them to identify Webhelp
as the ideal partner and thus contribute to the success of the operation.”
Guillaume
Nathan, partner at Bryan, Garnier & Co added “We are
delighted to support Netino, one of the most dynamic companies in the field of
e-moderation, in its strategic partnership. This transaction illustrates once
more the unique ability of Bryan, Garnier & Co to support European growth
companies in the digital space.”
