Position: Investment Banking – Analyst Intern

Bryan, Garnier & Co is an international full service growth-focused independent investment bank with operations in London, Paris, Munich, Zurich, New York and San Francisco through a joint-venture with JMP Securities. Since 1996, Bryan, Garnier & Co has dealt with over 300 corporate clients. The firm employs 150 people and provides equity research, sales and trading, private and public capital raising as well as M&A services to growth companies and their investors.
Our Investment Banking Department focuses on key growth sectors including Technology, Healthcare, Consumer and Business Services. Through its Investment Banking practice, Bryan, Garnier & Co has become a leader in advising European growth companies on strategic finance transactions such as M&A, ECM, LBOs, Private Placements and other strategic transactions. Over the last 24 months, we have completed more than 60 transactions with category leaders in the Technology and Healthcare sectors globally such as Adobe, Devialet, Symetis or Xerox. The team is a blend of international individuals having held senior executive positions in the industries on which we focus, seasoned investment bankers and former venture capitalists.
We are recruiting interns to support the growing activity of our Investment Banking Department in Paris.
Description of duties:
The intern’s work will include:
• Financial analyses and modelling
• Competitive analysis and market research
• Production of client presentations including pitch books, information memorandum & management presentations
• Assistance in the execution of transactions
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic track record from a recognized college or university with a degree in Business or Finance: Business Schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Sciences Po, EM Lyon…), Tier 1 University (Dauphine, Sorbonne, Assas…) and Engineering Schools (Mines, Centrale…).
The successful candidate should have excellent writing and verbal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
Please note that fluency in French and English, a prior experience in investment banking and finance skills are desirable to apply for this position.
