Equity Research - Analyst Intern (Paris Office)

We are recruiting an intern to join our Equity Research Technology & Smart Industries teams in Paris.

Start Date: Immediate for a minimum of six months
Location: Paris office

Bryan, Garnier & Co is an international full service growth-focused independent investment bank with operations in London, Paris, Munich, Zurich, New York and San Francisco through a joint-venture with JMP Securities. Founded in 1996, the firm employs over 150 people and provides equity research, sales and trading, private and public capital raising as well as M&A services to growth companies and their investors.


Our Equity Research team focuses on four practices notably: Healthcare, Technology, Smart Industries and Consumer, Brands & Retail. With seasoned research methodology and a fundamental bottom-up approach, Bryan, Garnier & Co's analysts provide opinionated investment insights with leading perspective across these four key sectors in Europe covering more than 150 stocks in total.


We are currently looking for an intern to join our Technology & Smart Industries practices which include various sectors including Software, IT Services, Payments, Fintech, Semiconductors, Video Games, Telecom, Media, Energy, Business Services, Hotels and Construction.

Job description:

As an intern at Bryan Garnier, your role would notably involve:
•    Assisting analysts in the writing of daily documents
•    Participating in the writing of reports on a range of topics (sector reports, coverage initiation)
•    Financial modeling and valuation

Skills required:

We are looking for smart and curious people with a good financial background and at least a first six months experience in the finance services sector. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is an essential requirement.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic track record from a recognized college or university with a degree in Business or Finance: Business Schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Sciences Po, EM Lyon…), Tier 1 University (Dauphine, Sorbonne, Assas…) and Engineering Schools (Mines, Centrale…).

As well as having strong financial expertise, the successful candidate should have excellent, writing and verbal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
