PARIS, March 28th, 2017 – On March 30th and 31st Tech Tour will launch the fourth edition of its Annual Growth Forum, the essential tech sector event in Europe that brings together the next generation of European high-growth tech companies (50 “unicorns” identified in the Tech Tour Growth 50 rankings published in February). Bryan, Garnier & Co, a pan-European investment bank and leader in supporting growth companies, has taken over from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which had acted as the partner until now.

The essential tech event for growth companies and investors

The Tech Tour Growth Forum’s objective is to promote the next generation of high-growth tech companies in Europe. The managers of these future “unicorns” will gather in Geneva and Lausanne on March 30th and 31st in order to spend two days sharing ideas with investors. Two of these companies will receive awards: the Tech Tour Growth Award or the Tech Tour Innovation Award.

Bryan, Garnier & Co, an ideal partner for the Tech Tour Growth Forum

For the past 20 years, Bryan, Garnier & Co has supported tech sector companies by providing research and intermediation activities in the main European and American stock exchanges, by raising capital through private placements or equity offerings and by offering mergers and acquisitions advisory. Since 2014, Bryan Garnier has also been the leading bank for initial public offerings of European company stocks on Nasdaq. In 2016, Bryan Garnier completed nearly 30 transactions in the tech sector in Europe, including a €100 million private placement for Devialet, the sale of Lexsi to Orange Cyberdefense, the acquisition of a 40% equity interest in MGI by Konica Minolta, the DKK 143 million secondary offering by Zealand on the Nasdaq Nordic market and the $23 million private placement for Tado, the German leader for Internet of Things (IoT) products. Bryan Garnier’s clients also include previous TechTour award winners such as Devialet or Bitfury, a leading blockchain technology firm.

With pan-European coverage, the bank has a long-standing presence in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, the United States and India. In 2016, Bryan Garnier strengthened its market position in the German-speaking region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) by acquiring a leading technology investment bank based in Munich and covering this region. Last November, Bryan, Garnier & Co and JMP Securities, a leading U.S. investment bank for the tech sector, announced the launch of a joint platform under the JMP Bryan Garnier brand name, thereby creating a leading transatlantic firm, with more than 300 employees, including around 30 equity analysts and nearly 100 investment bankers specializing in U.S. and European innovative companies.
