Bryan, Garnier & Co acts as Sole Financial Advisor to Art-Event Group on its merger with Alive Groupe
Context
Founded in 2000 and based in Paris with 250 employees, Art-Event is a technical services provider for events providing support for clients in France and Switzerland.
This includes the set-up and rental of furniture, signage and decoration for conventions, seminars, product launches, fashion shows, exhibitions, fairs and congresses.
With a turnover of EUR 24m in 2017, the company’s shareholders were looking to extend their audiovisual range of services as well as a their market reach in France through a merger with an industrial partner.

Bryan, Garnier & Co advised Art-Event Group’s shareholders on the merger with Alive Groupe (supported by Re-sources Capital, Nord Croissance and Siparex) which provided the best service match and complimentary geographic fit.
The new combined entity which recorded c. EUR 45m of revenues in 2017 will be the 3rd largest technical service provider in the French events market.
This transaction marks Bryan, Garnier & Co's growing expertise in the Business Services sector. Recent transactions include the acquisition of Xerox Research Center Europe by Naver, the acquisition of Domiserve by La Banque Postale and the acquisition of Agence79 by HAVAS.
